One of the biggest stressors for families is figuring out what everyone should wear, but don't worry, you're not on your own! After booking, I'll send you a style guide filled with tips and inspiration, stores to check out, and tips to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel true to your family. My biggest advice? Stick with neutral, timeless colors, coordinate rather than match exactly, and choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable!
I photograph families throughout North Texas and have a collection of beautiful locations to fit every season and style. Whether you love wide-open fields, lakeside sunsets, charming downtown streets, or a peaceful park, I'll help you choose the perfect location based on your vision and your family's personality! I occationally travel back to Georgia, select times of the year!
This is by far the question I get asked the most, and the answer is: that's completely okay!
Children aren't meant to stand perfectly still and smile for an hour, and I don't expect them to. Some of the sweetest photographs come from playing, cuddling, exploring, and simply letting kids be themselves. As a nanny of 5 years, I have seen it all and will completely run with what your family needs, no stress!
My sessions are relaxed, child-led when needed, and designed to create genuine moments instead of forced smiles. We'll laugh, play games, take breaks if needed, and make the experience enjoyable for everyone!
Your final gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your session. Every image is thoughtfully hand-edited with care so your photographs feel timeless and true to life!
I recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance, especially during the spring and fall when sessions fill quickly. If you have a specific date or season in mind, reaching out early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred spot!
Absolutely! You don't have to worry about knowing what to do or feeling awkward in front of the camera. I'll guide you every step of the way with natural prompts and gentle direction while encouraging genuine interaction. My goal is for your photographs to feel joyful, connected, and authentically you!
