That’s the heart behind Amanda Jenkins Photography.
Today, I photograph families and weddings and am based in and serving Dallas and Fort Worth, and Cumming, Georgia (and surrounding areas), and I’m always happy to travel.
Through joyful, natural, emotion-filled images, I help you remember this season of life exactly as it was:
real, meaningful, and full of heart.
Photography has always been part of my life, but not just because I loved being in front of the camera.
It’s because my mom valued preserving the moment.
She photographed everything: birthdays, messy mornings, quiet milestones.
She taught me early that photos aren’t just pretty, they’re part of our story. That legacy stuck!
From capturing our dog running through the grass to photographing my cousin’s birth, I realized:
I don’t just love taking photos. I love preserving life!

Right before graduating high school, I fell in love with photography. I took my camera everywhere: capturing friends, family, roommates, and anyone who’d let me. I was hooked!
In April 2025, I graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Business Marketing Management and Photography, blending visual storytelling with a love for people and connection.
What began as a creative outlet has grown into a calling:
to document the joy, love, and legacy of couples and families through timeless, meaningful images as a wedding and family photographer.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of serving couples and families across Dallas–Fort Worth and North Georgia, documenting everything from heartfelt weddings, LDS Weddings, and engagement sessions to maternity, and meaningful family milestones.

I married my high school sweetheart in May 2024, and he’s truly the love of my life. We’ve been together since 2019, and doing life with him by my side is one of my greatest joys.
Making memories with my friends and family is everything to me. They’re my greatest blessing and the reason I cherish capturing meaningful moments for others, too.
I went skydiving for the first time in 2022, and it was one of the best experiences of my life!
I loved it so much, I bought another jump, and I can’t wait to go again!
Being outside and going on adventures with my husband and friends is one of my favorite things.
Exploring National Parks and soaking in beautiful scenery? That’s the key to my heart.

How did we get here?
Got my first camera and loved taking photos of everything I could!

Getting ready to graduate college!
Brady and I dated for five years before we got married, through high school, his two-year church mission, and deep into college life. We tied the knot in May 2024, and he’s truly my best friend. Our families are incredibly close, and we love going on vacations together, they’re some of my favorite memories.
I was born out West but grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where my love for community and connection really bloomed. I’m one of two kids, but I come from a big extended family that means the world to me.
I recently graduated from BYU–Idaho in April 2024, where I studied Business Marketing Management and Photography. It’s been such a gift to pair my love for storytelling with the skills to run a business that serves others with heart.
Travel is one of my greatest joys, especially cruises and lake days with my people. My ideal day? Sitting in a boat on the lake, good food (can't forget a good Dr. Pepper!) with good people, waves crashing nearby, tubing competitions with my sweet friends, husband, or sister, and my family right beside me. They’re my anchor and the reason I value every moment we get to hold onto!
Family is everything to me, and that’s why I love capturing legacy moments for yours, too!

After your session, I’ll spend the next 14 days (or the timeline outlined in your contract, depending on season and session type) carefully editing each image, one by one. My goal is to ensure every photo reflects the beauty, emotion, and joy of your special day.
One week after your session, you’ll receive a sneak peek blog highlighting some of my favorite moments, just enough to relive the magic while you wait!
Once your gallery is complete, you’ll receive a beautiful, personalized online gallery with:
High-resolution downloads
Professional print-ordering options
Easy sharing with family and friends
You’ll be able to view, download, and celebrate one of the best days of your life, all in one place.
Delivery Timeline by Session Type:
• Standard Sessions: At least 55+ fully edited images, plus outfit guidance during planning
• Weddings: Full gallery delivered within 3 weeks, polished and perfected

I’m a dual-based photographer with roots in both Northern Atlanta, Georgia and Rexburg, Idaho—and I love getting to serve incredible clients in both places! While my home base shifts with the seasons, I’m always happy to travel to capture your story, wherever it unfolds.
Travel is included within 30 miles of my current location, and anything beyond that will include a small mileage fee based on the current government rate (62.5¢ per mile in-state).
My Location Schedule:
January – April: Eastern Idaho
April – September: North Georgia
September – December: Eastern Idaho

I’m all about making your booking process easy and stress-free! Here’s what to know when reserving your session with Amanda Jenkins Photography:
Payment Options
I accept Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, debit/credit cards, and other preferred methods through your booking link. Just choose what’s easiest for you!
To Book Your Session:
• A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your date.
• The remaining balance is due by the day of your session.
• Your session is officially booked once your contract is signed and deposit is paid.

Is the Session Fee All-Inclusive?
Yes! Your session fee is a flat rate and includes all your final, edited, high-resolution images.
