Emma’s Sunrise Senior Session in Alpharetta, Georgia

There’s just something about sunrise sessions that feels extra special. The quietness of the morning, the soft glow coming through the trees, the stillness before the world fully wakes up… it always feels so peaceful and dreamy, and Emma’s senior session was exactly that! As an Alpharetta GA Senior Photographer, this was a dream!

We met just before sunrise at one of my favorite hidden spots in the Alpharetta area, and the entire morning felt so glowy and calm from the second we started. The light reflected perfectly off the water, the air was cool and quiet, and everything about the morning fit Emma so beautifully. She brought the sweetest energy to her session and was genuinely so excited to celebrate this season of life, which made photographing her such a joy!

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to capture who someone truly is during such a huge milestone season. Graduation feels like this beautiful mix of excitement, nostalgia, and stepping into something brand new all at once, and I loved getting to document that for Emma. She recently completed online school and is heading into such an exciting new chapter, and I’m so proud of her and all she’s accomplished already!

The entire morning honestly felt more like hanging out than a session. Emma was so easygoing and trusted me with everything, which always creates the best images. We wandered around the pond while the sun slowly came up, stopped along the bridge and columns, and found the dreamiest little pockets of light everywhere. The soft reflections on the water mixed with the warm sunrise glow made everything feel so timeless and elegant!

And honestly… one of the funniest parts of the morning had to be the geese! They completely stole the show at some points, and Emma absolutely loved them. It ended up adding so much personality and movement to the session and made the whole experience feel even more genuine and memorable.

Sessions like this are such a reminder of why I love what I do so much at Amanda Jenkins Photography! Getting to preserve these seasons before life changes and moves forward is something I never take lightly. Emma, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special season for you! You are the sweetest, and I cannot wait to see where life takes you next!
