Celebrating Nolan’s Graduation at BYU-Idaho

Graduation photos are a special way to celebrate achievements and capture memories that last a lifetime. Recently, I had the joy of photographing Nolan, who works alongside me as a teacher’s assistant for a startup business class at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Getting to know Nolan and his wife, Addi, has been such a fun experience, and their graduation session was an absolute blast!

Capturing Iconic Moments on Campus

We explored the BYU-Idaho campus, making sure to capture photos at all the iconic landmarks, including the classic signs and the new blue sign on campus. Of course, we had to stop by the Smith Building, where Nolan has spent countless hours studying and in classes! These spots added so much meaning to the photos and celebrated his time at BYU-Idaho! This is so special!

Adding a Personal Touch with Couple’s Photos

Including Addi in the session made it even more memorable. We recreated some of their favorite poses—a tradition they’ve loved for years. Capturing their fun and creative energy added so much personality to the shoot. These personal touches made the session unique and meaningful. They are such a fun couple, and graduating from college is the biggest accomplishment! All of your hard work these last years has paid off, and it’s so worth it!

Golden Light and Fun Memories at Ricks Garden

Our final location was the beautiful BYU-I Ricks Garden. The glow of the evening light through the trees created the perfect backdrop. We even had a surprise visitor—a curious squirrel who kept trying to steal our keys! It was one of those random, funny moments that made the session even more unforgettable. I love random memories from my sweet sessions I have! It makes for great stories and memories!
